How much the iPhone will cost you on Verizon

The basic 450-minute voice plan will cost $40. That's standard, but text and data is where it gets interesting.

One-upping AT&T, Verizon will offer a voice and text plan featuring unlimited text messaging starting at $60, which is good compared to AT&T's $80 w/900 minutes.  Verizon's Unlimited data plans that will allow you to surf the web and download and use apps, will run you $30. To compare: AT&T offers 2GB of data per month for $25. Will you ever go over 2GB, who knows, but unlimited is a set rate without worry.

For an $20 a month, you will be able to use your phone as a wi-fi hotspot, a feature that has AT&T iPhone users very jealous.  But at least they can talk and surf the web at the same time, which is why people really choose AT&T.  Either way Apple's stock remains solid.

  1. You think Verizon will ever be able to offer the talk and browse feature?
